Join Access Justice Brooklyn, in partnership with Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso for a free Consumer Assistance, Resource & Education (CARE) Forum focused on helping Brooklyn residents better understand their rights and access trusted legal resources.

During this free Know Your Rights presentation, attendees will learn about:

  • Your rights when dealing with debt collectors and other consumer issues
  • What to do if you’re sued over a consumer debt
  • Common legal defenses that may be available
  • Free resources and services available to support you

This event is free and open to the public. Whether you’re facing a consumer issue yourself or want information to help a friend, family member, or neighbor, we encourage you to attend.
